He has 20 years of global experience in factory planning, restructuring, operations improvement and supply chain consulting. Since 2012 he is Professor for Supply Chain & Operations Management at the HWR Berlin where he researches Digital Supply Chain Excellence.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Zaby started his career as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company in Munich and Zurich. Subsequently, he worked as the CFO of a biopharmaceutical company with operations in Germany and the US. In 2008, he joined the Berlin School of Economics an Law as a professor of business administration and has been serving as its president since 2016.
