Basic Information

1. What is the general event information?

Date:                              Wednesday, 05th February and Thursday, 06th February 2019

Participation fee:           1,280 € for both days, 880 € for the first conference day and 880 € for the second conference day (both prices excluding VAT)

2. Are there special conditions?

There are special conditions for members of higher education institutions and corporate groups. You can receive these on request.  

3. Until when is the registration possible at the latest?

It is possible to register until 04th of February 2019. Afterwards registration is only possible directly at the event. Payment for registrations at the event site will be via credit card.

4. What cancellation conditions exist? 

If you cancel by 21 December 2018, we will refund the participation fee minus a processing fee of 100 €. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. In this case we ask you to send a representative to the 3rd PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS FORUM Berlin 2019. In case of cancellation of the conference by IPM AG, the paid participation fee will be refunded immediately. Further claims are excluded.

5. Is a hotel room included in the price? 

The costs for accommodation as well as travel are to be borne by yourself.

The ESTREL Hotel Berlin offers a contingent of rooms at special rates (keyword PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS FORUM - EZ 108 EUR, DZ 120 EUR, breakfast + 19 EUR). Conference Elements and Organization

6. Which parts of the event program can be attended?


Exhibitors and sponsors are generally allowed to participate in all parts of the event. These consist of the following parts: 1. Factory tours, 2. Keynotes and lectures, 3. Workshops / Panel Discussion, Open-Discussions, 4. B2B-Speed-Meetings, Exhibition Sprints, Innovation Spotlights, 5. Gala Buffet. The event parts 2. and 3. are automatically booked for all participants. The factory tour, the buffet and all parts out of 4. require a separate selection by the participants. For exhibiting companies it is important to note that the exhibition stand must always be staffed with at least one person.

7. How does the registration for the workshops / panel discussion work? 

As several workshops and a panel discussion will take place simultaneously, participants will be asked to indicate their preferred option when registering. The number of participants in the workshops is limited and therefore follows the "first come, first serve" principle. It is therefore possible that participants will not be able to participate in the workshop of their choice if they register later. In principle, however, it is ensured that each participant can participate in one of the five workshops or the panel discussion.


Presentations and Contents

8.   What topics are covered in the lectures? 

In principle, the topics are concentrated on the areas of additive manufacturing. Speakers often report on their practical experience.

9.   In what language will the presentations be held? 

The conference language of the PRODUCTION & LOGISTICS FORUM is German, so that the slides as well as the text of the lecture will be primarily formulated in German. Presentations in English are also possible. Exact details can be found in the programme and the lecture titles. All keynotes and presentations will be translated simultaneously into English.

10.   Will the presentations be made available to the conference participants? 

The presentations released by the speakers are made accessible to the conference topics via a protected online area in the aftermath of the conference. If it is not possible for confidentiality reasons to make the presentations available to the participants, we ask for your understanding.

11.   Will questions be permitted during the presentations? 

The last five minutes of the lectures will be used to answer questions from the audience. Our on-site moderator will organise the audience's participation.



12.   Which format does the workshop have?

The workshops are characterised by an interactive format in which the participants in working groups weigh up the pros and cons of a thesis and present a joint conclusion. Participants participate in the discussion of the working groups as well as in the presentations of the results and decide for themselves which theses they would like to make a statement on.

13.   In what language will the workshop be held?

The conference language of the workshops will also be German. In order to open the conference to international participants, some workshops will also be held in English. More detailed information can be found in the conference programme. 


Conference Documents

14.    Which conference documents will I receive?

Participants will receive the Conference Guide published at the event. It contains all conference information, including the conference programme, exhibition plan, list of participants and much more.

15.    Will I receive the contact details of the speakers and experts as well as of the participants?

All participants receive a printed participant list containing the names, companies and functions of the participants. The list of participants is intended for individual needs and contact development and is integrated in the conference magazine.
